Overview
The all-new 4.2 metric ton CX42D mini excavator is the only zero tailswing mini excavator in its size class — allowing it to get more up close and personal to its work than any other comparable mini excavator. It also delivers a high level of feature standardization with excellent options to further improve performance, and an automotive-style experience in the cab to make this a truly operator-first machine. All with standard auxiliary hydraulics that makes this a powerful platform for attachments so that you can expand your services and pump up your profitability.
Features
GET UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL
The all-new D Series mini excavators deliver massive performance in a true zero tailswing design, allowing operators to get extremely up close and personal to buildings and obstacles without sacrificing any excavator performance. The CX42D is the only mini in its size class with zero overhang during the swing.
ALL THE CONTROL. ALL THE INFO.
From three power modes and proportional hydraulic controls to attachment settings and critical machine data, the large seven-inch color LCD monitor makes it easy to operate the CX42D while allowing the operator to dial it in to their preferences.
PERFECT ATTACHMENT PLATFORM
Standard multifunction auxiliary hydraulics and a standard 2nd auxiliary circuit + an optional 3rd auxiliary circuit puts a whole world of attachments at your fingertips — turning your mini excavator into an all-purpose beast.
STANDARD STABILITY & BACKFILLING
Whether backfilling a trench or adding stability to a challenging dig, the standard two-way and optional six-way blade gives the operator the confidence needed to make all the moves needed to get the job done.
INTELLIGENCE COMES STANDARD
