Overview
The CX140E is the smallest of the all-new CASE E Series excavators — but it may just be the most dynamic. It weighs under 30,000 pounds making it extremely easy to transport, and it delivers big excavator performance on sites of all shapes and sizes. Steel tracks or rubber tracks. Conventional tracks or a dozer blade for backfilling and added stability. All is matched with the extreme operator enhancements featured in the CASE E Series as well as the ability to outfit the machine with OEM-fit 2D or 3D machine control solutions. If ease of transport, operator satisfaction and extreme versatility are your thing — the CX140E is your excavator.
Features
A Whole New Command Center
A massive new 10-inch LCD display serves as the control center and provides even greater access and visibility to cameras, machine data and controls. This includes the ability to customize your view (with rear, sideview and Max View™ perspectives) at the same time while still accessing machine data and controls — ensuring optimal visibility and jobsite awareness. The display includes intuitive customization capabilities that help the operator make the workspace their own. And four new operating modes available to be set in a range of up to 10 throttle settings allow operators to better dial in performance to their work. The new Eco mode drives lower fuel consumption by as much as 18 percent compared to previous CASE excavators1.

Even More Hydraulic Control
CASE excavators have always been fast, smooth, powerful and responsive — all-new CASE E Series excavators take that to the next level with Hydraulic Flow Control Balance. Hydraulic Flow Control Balance allows you to customize the priority of hydraulic flow used for arm in and boom up movements, and for arm in and swinging movements. The operator can throw greater priority to one movement over the other based on their digging or truck loading style. This makes the excavator even more responsive and efficient based on the type of work and operator preference.

A Powerful Attachment Platform
E Series excavators allow operators to set and store numerous attachments within the massive new LCD monitor. This is available for both one-way and two-way hydraulic attachments, and provides the ability to direct additional pump flow to the attachment during two-way operation.
It also lets the operator set the power going to the attachment within the demands of the job and within the recommended specs of the attachment. This makes it easier to operate an attachment, and ensures that the operator will not put more flow to that attachment than it can handle. This leads to optimal attachment performance, and prevents possible damage or downtime related to putting too much flow or power into the attachment.

Precision Solutions Directly from CASE
OEM-Fit 2D and 3D semi-automatic machine control solutions featured on new CASE E Series excavators ensure that the optimal combination of machine and solution is installed and tested by CASE certified precision field specialists. It also simplifies the acquisition process and allows for the technology to be grouped in with the purchase of the machine — combining the financing or lease approval, rate and payment in a single package. It also helps improve the residual/resale value of the machine.
Improve Uptime with Collaborative Fleet Management
CASE E Series excavators drive greater uptime and improved service with the introduction of new connectivity capabilities across the product line. This is achieved with the new SiteConnect Module along with the new SiteManager App (iOS and Android). This app pairs your phone or device to the machine to enable remote analysis. Certified CASE technicians then diagnose the health of each connected machine through parameter readings and fault codes — and determines whether the issue can be addressed remotely (such as clearing codes or updating software) or if it requires a trip to the machine.
CASE also leverages the SiteConnect Module to further improve telematics data for real-time monitoring, management of maintenance and service intervals, examination of equipment utilization and overall machine record-keeping. It also improves the collaboration between equipment owner, dealer and manufacturer by sharing — at their discretion — real-time machine information with the dealer and the CASE Uptime Center in Racine, Wis.
