Trident™ 5550

The Case IH 5550 Trident combination applicator allows producers the flexibility of owning one machine that can be quickly converted between spraying and dry-product applications. Set-up in a liquid configuration, the Case IH 5550 Trident is equipped with a 1400 or 1600 gallon tank and a 60’ to 120’ boom. In the dry product configuration, the boom and tank are replaced with a 330 cubic feet hopper equipped with a spinner which can be used to apply dry products such as potash or lime. Total switch-over time between liquid and dry configurations can be made in less than 1 hour with the help of a hoist or a telehandler.
