The experience needed for a career with Titan Machinery depends on the position you're applying for; however, we encourage anyone with a strong desire to be a part of our industry and willingness to learn to apply! We value the diversity in our employees' experiences and backgrounds and offer a variety of paths to further your education. 

The first step is to apply! Once your application has been submitted you will receive a confirmation email. If by chance your application is not fully submitted, you'll receive an email letting you know to complete the remaining steps. We will also send reminders via text message when necessary. Hiring Managers will review all applications that meet the minimum requirements outlined during the application process and will be in touch regarding the interview process/next steps. If you do not receive an interview now, we'll invite you to stay connected with us for future career and growth opportunities. We are always open to answering questions and helping when we can.

As you can imagine, every day is different! A typical workday depends on your position, but you can always count on working with your team to build customer relationships and find them the best-in-class solutions. While some employees work a typical eight-hour work day, five days a week, others might work non-typical days/hours in the field and on call. If you have questions about the position you're applying for, we encourage you to ask during the interview process!

In our industry, you'll often see these titles going hand-in-hand. Our Service Technicians are our heavy equipment experts working hands-on to provide customers with the solutions they need in agriculture, construction, and application. There is a large variety of Service Technician careers you can dive into - whether working on various equipment or specializing in one kind and whether in the shop or out in the field!

Diesel Mechanics fall within this umbrella term and we acknowledge it also to be widely recognized by the general public. This is why you'll often see both referred to!

We have two avenues you can explore!

Our Service Technician Sponsorship program allows selected students beginning or pursuing a two-year Associate of Applied Science Diesel degree to join one of our service teams. The sponsorship program provides early-career diesel mechanics professional, technical, and financial support.

Our Service Technician Apprenticeship program is designed for individuals who wish to become a Diesel Mechanic through full-time on-the-job training. Titan Machinery offers a Federally regulated National Standards Program through the Department of Labor allowing graduates to receive a national, industry-­recognized credential.
